Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are increasingly adept, passing our tests for cleaning and taking on various floor types. Choose models that allow you to choose between multiple modes, self-empty and clean stairs.

Many of the best models work with your smartphone. Look for an application that lets you save maps, schedules and choose cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The gloss black and gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive mop and robot vacuums that mop vacuum combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set schedules and customize the S1's behaviour.

The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which comprises linoleum flooring in the kitchen, dining room, and bathrooms and also a large rugs and a medium-pile. It was able to drive right up to walls without colliding with them, and was able to traverse thresholds for rooms that are raised without problem, but it sometimes had trouble navigating down stairs in a single move. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. The mop sped along on its flat side and swung up when it was near carpets or rug.

The docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated water prior to every mopping session. The dock also adds a cleaning solution into the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 cleaning sessions, but this will vary depending on the frequency you use the mop.

The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like all 2-in-1 robots. In order to do this, you'll have to clean the water tank that is dirty regularly to avoid it from clogging. You will also need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to avoid them getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 is easy to maintain, especially when compared to other models which require more effort to maintain.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-one robot mop and autonomous vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a reliable option for cleaning requirements. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction and comes with many innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that avoids obstructions and cleans furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than simply moving a pad across the surface. Mops can also be cleaned and best robot Vacuum dried at the base station when needed.

This robot has an easy-to-use interface that guides you through the process. It comes with a rechargeable hand vacuum for those areas that the robot isn't able to reach and two water tanks that are automatically emptied and replenished as required. It has a variety of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, with a strong suction that easily picks up all kinds of debris, including the tiny dust particles that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are decent, but it can get stuck on small mats and rugs at my home (which you can alleviate by creating virtual boundaries in the app). Mopping capabilities are quite good with a pair of spinning mops which are able to lift and scrub floors, rather than just drag the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned with hot water and dried in the basestation whenever required. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as needed.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new flagship robot hoover mop and automatic vacuum and mop robot comes with more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our top list of robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush will give you an efficient, customized clean.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and fine particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It also cleaned our tests' dirtiest areas well, avoiding tangled pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping power of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that automatically moves out to reach hard-to-reach areas, and a mop pad that extends along baseboards.

Its navigation is nimble that can navigate narrow spaces and climbing stairs without skipping a beat. 4. Roomba Q5 pro

Robot vacuums are fantastic at removing dirt and debris, but they're not able to get every bit of dust. That's why it's important to use your regular vacuum once every week, and especially to remove dust from corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mops, is designed to accomplish this. It's easy to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and is compatible with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your daily cleaning routine.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, which includes the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's cheaper since it doesn't have mopping capabilities and comes with a plastic body.
