The best robot vacuum that mops Robot Hoover

The best robot hoover can clean and mop without requiring your attention, and it will leave your floors clean. Its surprisingly affordable price and high-end features (such as dirt detection) are a plus.

However, it's a good choice for those who want to save money on a Roomba from iRobot, Best Robot Hoover and you have a mostly bare-floor home or office. It's also extremely quiet and can be used when you're at work or school. The only thing it lacks that you can't find in the pricier iRobot Roomba X30 is edge-to-edge vacuuming on floors that aren't clean. It's also less effective when it comes to mopping. It relies on disposable wet wipes that don't stick well and aren't able to deal with dried-on debris. The Q5 comes with a self-emptying cradle, however. If you need to mop, the mopping pad can be swapped for an awe-inspiring one in a matter of seconds.

2. iRobot Roomba X30

The iRobot Roomba X30 is a compact, sleek vacuum cleaner that also has the ability to sweep floors. This is a feature that we haven't seen in other robotic vacuum/mop combinations.

3. IRobot Roomba X40

With an elegant circular design that looks like a regular Roomba than the competition's compact models this robot vacuum and mop combo is among the most attractive looking models in our reviews. The latest model from iRobot is also its smartest. It features advanced features such as Enhanced Dirt Detection and future compatibility (another company's robot that is able to wash mop pads on its own).

It's also the only robotic vacuum/mop to score a perfect 10 out of 10 in our tests. This is thanks to the combination of high-tech sensors, including a structured light system, camera, and a variety of lasers. The X40 Ultra is also the only robot we tested that can completely autonomously refill and empty its base station and boasts an the industry's highest suction of 12,000Pa and self-cleaning mop pads.

The X40 as with other iRobot products, is easy to use. It has a simple mobile app interface that is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit. The only drawback is that it's a noisy unit that could be problematic if you run it in the morning before work, or at night when you attempt to sleep.

It's also quite expensive but not as much as the Ecovacs MaxV Ultra or the Roborock S8 Omni, which are both equally impressive and attractive. If you're willing to put up with a bit more noise and some additional cost this is a capable two-in-one that should please almost everyone.

4. iRobot Roomba L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is the top-of-the high-end robot mop and vacuum mop cleaner robot. It has a number of advanced features that will help you forget your chores. The L20 Ultra is a hands-free cleaning machine, similar to Ecovacs top-of-the-line X2 Omni or Roborock's S8 Pro Ultra. It comes with a multi-function dock that will automatically emptys the bin of the vacuum and refills the water tank, and washes and dry mop pads.

The smart robot uses an array of LIDAR and structured light to map out floor plans and spot obstacles, navigating more intelligently than its more expensive rivals. It also has a camera mounted on the front to detect hazards in real-time however, it wasn't reliable in our tests and was sometimes confused by power cords or other obstructions.

Its vacuum cleaner has an maximum suction of 7,000 Pascals which is more than sufficient to accomplish the task. It also has "Intelligent Dirt Detection", which regulates the intensity at which the vac works and alters the frequency of cleaning for different areas of the home according to the amount of dirt they are.

If you have a larger home, it's worth choosing a model that has zones or spot cleaning modes. This allows you to inform the robot of which area of your home must be cleaned with the help of an app or voice control. If you have a lot of furniture, a stairway mode is also a good robot vacuum option. It also mopses using a single pad and a rotating motion that cleans better that most mop cleaners for robots that we've examined. And it's highly self-sufficient with a fully-featured app as well as an auto-emptying washable base.

The iRobot app is designed to guide you through the mapping process that collects data on your floorplan, as well as any "no go" areas that you have marked on the map. It can be used to create cleaning schedules, arrange a spot clean or to prioritize your most filthy rooms to improve performance.
