Inside, the refrigerator has the standard French-door layout, with gallon-sized door bins on each door and two rows of spill-capture shelves and a set more spacious drawers. The top right shelf can be folded down to give taller items more space. You'll also find a full-width deli drawer and an internal water dispenser.

One of the best features of this refrigerator is that its Ice maker is located in the freezer, which makes it easy to transfer ice into the fridge to use as required. The freezer also features thoughtful design features, like sliding drawers that can help you sort your things. It also has a huge bin that holds plenty of frozen food items as well as an additional storage bin for ice.

Another awesome feature of this refrigerator is its Smart InstaView panel. It allows you to manage the refrigerator's temperature and lighting from your smartphone. It's an easy way to keep track of your refrigerator and control it, especially when not at home.

The doors are another problem with this refrigerator. The handles with a sunken design allow smaller people to open them from the bottom. However taller people will have a hard time closing them without slamming them. It would have been better if they had front-mounted handles.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX is a good choice for those who want to combine the benefits of a fridge with a smallest french door fridge door with a more efficient layout. Its capacity is superior for a counter-depth model, and it cools evenly and has a good layout. It's also a bit less than the top counter-depth refrigerators that have an ice maker, which helps make it a popular choice.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

This is a great performance, but it doesn't quite make it into the top ten in our rankings.
