The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and swung up when it was near carpets or rug.

Prior to each mopping session the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills the water tank with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can hold enough for Best Robot Vacuum and Mop 12 cleaning sessions, but it will differ depending on the frequency you use the mop.

The S1 requires periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. In order to do this, you'll have to clean the water tank that is dirty regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. Dreame's X30 Ultra robot hoover vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. But their new flagship model has even more impressive features. It is a great cleaner and is simple to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our list of the best robot vacuums and mop.
