If you need to clean up your mess quickly, a robot vacuum cleaner and mop is the best way to go. The best robot vacs and mops that I have tested are top-quality in navigation and mapping, picking up Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds without leaving them behind.

They're also user-friendly using an application that lets you plan cleaning tasks and track what they're working on.

1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra

If you're searching for the most effective robot vacuum and mop combination with bleeding-edge features, take a look at the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This model of the highest quality is quick and agile, picking up debris like human hair and pet hair nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It has a sleek app interface with an interactive map of your home, as well as buttons on the screen for manual control.

It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles, but it was stuck on a looser rug with tassels and had to flip over to release itself. But these are minor issues and the Yeedi Cube is still a ideal choice for those who want an all-in-one solution for cleaning.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in one home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping system uses a rotating motion that is similar to hand scrubs. This results in floors being cleaned, not just cleaned. Its detachable stick-vacuum is a game changer that enables you to reach spots even robot vacuums can't.

This model is essentially identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction capacity of 8,700Pa as well as a few additional smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can learn your home's environment and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. The app's smart features allow you to modify a range of settings, including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.

It uses laser mapping and a camera to create a map of your area which allows it to know which areas to avoid. It has an object/obstacle detector that will stay clear of things like toys and dog bowls (but not Poop), unlike many vacuums.

It has other great notable features, like an automatic vacuum cleaner emptying dust bin, a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching sweeper brush that is able to reach places that other mops can't reach. You can also adjust the settings for each room, and set up cleaning schedules.

It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and is able to distinguish between carpets and laminate with high-pile rug. It can also skip cleaning rooms that aren't filthy if you're trying to reduce time. It's a great choice when you have a mix of flooring in your home and aren't looking to spend the extra money on a Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is a great option if you are looking for a versatile robot that can do both regular maintenance as well as touch-ups to wet messes. It comes with a wide range of features such as a self-emptying dustbin as well as a dock that can be used to refill water, and adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It's surprisingly quiet, and it's able to navigate between furniture legs and socks effortlessly. It's not able to pick up knotted rug tassels and its battery drains more quickly than other models in our tests.

With a price tag of less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and handy automation into a sleek design. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our vacuuming tests however, it did very well. It has a range of cleaning modes, from the low-power 'Quiet mode for light debris to the more powerful 'Turbo mode' for carpeted areas. It can even automatically remove and reattach the mop pads without causing your carpets soaked.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for those who live in small spaces. It's quiet and quick, and it is a great choice for navigating tight spots. It also does a very good job of removing pet hair off carpeting.

It's smaller than many of its competitors however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has good suction power and can be set to take photos of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as "not found' to ensure that they are not removed in future cleanings. The photos are secure and not linked to your account.

It is capable of vaccuming but isn't quite as efficient at mopping. It uses disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bottom of the bot and drags them across your floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that come with water reservoirs that automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
