Evolution Korea

For a long time, Korea's scientific community has refrained from engaging with the creationists, fearing that doing so might boost the credibility of the group. However, silence is no any longer an option.

What is Evolution?

The word "evolution" comes from the Latin word"evolution" which means unrolling or revealing, but the concept itself has had many different meanings since it took shape in the sciences and other fields. Early evolutionists like Erasmus Darwin (Charles’s grandfather) and Jean Baptiste de Lamarck believed that species were predestined to change into a new species. The term"transmutation" was coined by Lamarck's disciple, embryologist Etienne Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire to describe this view.
