WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost to certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also boosts an unspecified substat.

Upgraded gear generally sees greater value for trade regardless of whether it has low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or a very high stat variation (like Eth titan weapons). These types of gear get less value from upgrading due to the requirement to roll for a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader enables players to upgrade gear to a higher item level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any type of weapon or armor. However, the item that is used to upgrade will remain in use for a long time and can't be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create the enchantments.

You can upgrade your equipment anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date, item level upgrade it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every several weeks.

Upgrades will cost more, based on the level of the Item Level upgrade however they'll always be cheaper than buying new gear. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest to ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. If you purchase a similar item, it will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are functional items that are used to level up weapons tools, armor, and other items. They can be bought by players through item upgrader NPCs in exchange for a variety of currencies, and may also be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased, it can be applied to any weapon or tool with an button, which will display an image of the item when it is upgraded in the event that the player has enough materials.

The cost of upgrading is based on the item slot and the current level of the Best item upgrade and the weapon's price is higher than bracers or gloves, for instance. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones plus a set number of crests. Some upgrades offer discounts on Flightstones. Crests

Using these new currencies isn't too complicated, but the system introduces some changes to the overall upgrade process. For instance, once an item reaches the highest upgrade items level of any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic) it will no longer require Flightstones to be upgraded. This is to allow players to upgrade their equipment to the highest possible ilvl for all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

It's also important to use crests with care, since they are only used for one purpose. For instance, it's a good idea to make use of all your Whelpling-rank crests on the top equipment you have and keep Drake and Wyrm crests to use for the next set of upgrades you plan on making. This is particularly relevant for items like rings and trinkets that occupy several slots. The account-wide discount will only apply when all the slots on the character are filled with high-quality gear.
