Buying a Tandem Double Buggy

A tandem double buggy could be a great choice when you have twins or children who are very close in age. They are smaller than side-by-side buggies and are perfect for tight spaces like doorways, public transport and terrain that is rocky.

Some can be converted to travel systems that use two carrycots or car seats for children. They are often heavier, longer and less stable than a single pushchair.

Convertible

If you're looking for convertible stroller that converts from single to double or to add a second seat to an existing one, there are several options available. The UPPAbaby V2 is large, beautiful stroller. It can be easily changed from a single to a double by adding an Rumble seat. However, it's expensive and less mobile than other double stroller sale strollers because the 2nd seat is placed to the left of the front seat. Nuna Demi Grow provides a similar choice, but it lacks storage under the seat when it is used as a double buggy side by side stroller.

Other options include all-terrain twin buggies and fixed-wheel joggers which can be used to accommodate two children. They are more expensive, but they are made to last longer on rough terrain and come with higher resale prices.

Independent seat recline

If you want a double stroller that can accommodate children of different ages, you will need one with a recliner that is independent for both seats. This will allow your older child to relax in the back while the baby sleeps in the bassinet, and the reverse.

You'll also need to consider the width of the stroller as this will impact how easy it is to traverse doors and public transportation. They can also be more expensive than single-to-double buggies but are a worthwhile investment if you plan to keep it for many years and will have a decent amount of resale value in the event that you decide to sell it off after your children have grown out of it.
