WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by 3. A random extra substat is also added to each upgrade.

Upgraded gear generally sees greater value for trade, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or a very high stat variance (like Eth titan weapons). Upgrades are not as valuable for the latter due to the need to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader enables players to upgrade item gear to a higher item level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any type of armor or weapons. However, the Best item upgrade used for the upgrade will remain in use for a long time and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be used to create the enchantments.

The upgrader is located in all major cities, and is accessible anytime to upgrade your equipment. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date it is recommended you visit the upgrader each few weeks.

Utilizing these new currencies isn't too difficult however, the system will introduce a few modifications to the upgrade process. Once a piece of gear reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer), it no longer requires Flightstones. This change allows players to upgrade their equipment to the highest level possible on all their characters, instead of relying on seasonal loot.
