Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (Start German 1) Exam Schedule

The official list below lists reserved time periods - not confirmed exams. Please confirm with your instructor whether or not the final exam for a course will be scheduled during this time.

Before registering, be sure to go over the Goethe exam guidelines and Prawo Jazdy Kategorii A1 the terms and conditions on each individual exam page. Be sure to make sure you register at the correct exam level.

Locations

The Exam Schedule lists locations where DEP conducts operator certification exams. If you require special accommodations because of chronic illness, visual or hearing impairment, or any other disability make contact with the exam provider and provide the documentation when registering.

Faculty may find their exam times via the "View My Teaching Schedule" task on the Faculty Dashboard in Workday. The Registrar's Office also has a schedule of exam times for classes that must have an exam by NYSED regulations. For evening classes, final exams are scheduled during the regular class meeting time during the final exam week.

Registration

Students are encouraged to consult the exam schedule online. However it is important to keep in mind that the final exam schedule can alter at any moment. This is why students should consult with their instructors to make sure they have the correct date and time for their test. Students should be sure to print out the official list and bring it with them to their exam.

Students should also be familiar with the guidelines and terms of the exam in addition to the schedule. These are available on the exam's individual page. Upon registration, students acknowledge that they agree to these terms and conditions.

Exam locations try their best to accommodate those who have special requirements. The nature and severity of these requirements should be noted on the registration and confirmed by a medical attestation. The locations of the exam must respect and maintain confidentiality.

If a student has three examinations scheduled for the same day it is recommended to contact their department or instructor to schedule a make-up exam. While it is possible to take three tests in one day, it could cause a high stress level and can affect the quality of the exam. Students should review their course material before taking the test and work on their German skills. The exam is a paper test that measures your ability to read, speak, and write German.
