World of Warcraft - item level upgrade Upgrading

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons can increase their numerical stats, like attack damage, crit chance and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons come with a flat-rate bonus that increases damage per second. Many weapons also come with a fixed bonus which is activated when three or more identical weapons are used in a unit. This bonus may be more than the damage that a weapon upgrade can do on its own.

The cost of upgrading a weapon is based on the quality of the weapon and its current level. For example, an +2 weapon will require two regular Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade a weapon will increase until it needs a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point, it will reset back to one.

Upgrades to weapons can also alter the stats of the base. While this is generally a good thing but it can also have negative consequences as well. Upgrades can make items inaccessible, unless you're extremely lucky.

Upgrades can be made to armor items to improve their stats. This can boost the defense of a helm or chest, while belts and gloves will increase their required strength and agility. Armor has a rerolling option for its Enhanced Defense%. This means that it is able to reroll down to a lower value.

The upgrade template of a weapon will show the new stats it will gain upon upgrading, as well as the relative value of those stats. This means that a weapon will gain 3% attack damage if it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. There are four Great Fairy Fountains within the game and in order to unlock each fountain, you must complete an additional quest involving the Stable Trotters. After you've completed the main quest and the corresponding fountains, you'll be able to talk to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the armor upgrade menu.

The amount of material needed to upgrade each piece of armor is different. It is possible to use anything from three Red Chuchu jelly and 10 Rupees to upgrade the first armor piece, and anywhere between five Rubies or 10 Fire-Breath Horns to upgrade the next one. For instance the Champion Leathers could be upgraded to +5 defense, allowing you to keep up with a good-sized group of enemies in most cold conditions and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded all the way to +20 defense, granting you enough protection to withstand an entire raid with a few friends.

You can't upgrade armor like weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior it is best to focus on upgrading your armor to increase physical power or spell power. It is also recommended to save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor you'll still be wearing by the end of the story, such as the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you wear in the final boss fight the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.

You can also get some benefits to your armor by presenting the jeweler at Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. Generally speaking, you'll want to keep these upgrades for the weapon you'll use to beat the game, such as the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer however, it could be useful to have a few improvements to the chest armor and helmets that allow you to stealth around certain monsters.

Potions

Potions are substances in bottles that, if consumed, give the user an effect on their status for a short period of time. There are five types of potions, each having a specific set of effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded to increase their level of effectiveness. Alternatively the effects of some potions can be enhanced by adding redstone or glowstone dust the potions.

Potion upgrades require a certain amount XP. This can be earned by crafting them on a crafting table or by storing them in the Alchemist chest. However, the upgrade price changes depending on what type of potion you want to upgrade, Item Upgrading and also on the item's Mark Level and rarity.

To upgrade a potion, click right on it in your inventory and select the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This will open a GUI that allows you to select the potions that you wish to upgrade, and the amount of experience they will offer when upgraded. Upgrading potions can be done in batches of up to five at a time, and the XP they provide will be added to your current XP count.

Once a poton is upgraded, it will not degrade until you make use of it again or break the bottle in the container it is stored. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will also allow you to rename it.

Version 1.7.2 introduced a few modifications to the way potions are used. For example splash potions now have a duration of 0:08 (this is not the same as the 22.5 seconds shown on the hover display of the item). The potion table is constructed from four Wood Planks, and two Glass. It can be used in both Survival and Bedrock. Trinkets

A trinket is a small and cheap ornament or piece of jewelry. It may be a reference to a piece of art or a decoration that serves a purpose but is not particularly important like a thimble. In certain cultures, a trinket is a way to show affection or friendship between family members.

Trinkets can be upgraded by players in addition to weapons, armor, and potions. They can be upgraded by going to an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate currency. As with other upgrades to items trinkets, trinkets can be exchanged at will without losing their status.

Upgrade vendors are located at the capitals of every zone and in some cases in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are offered with tokens, gold, or fragments from trinkets that are rare.

Upgrades to trinkets are an affordable alternative to buying an entirely new one. You can upgrade a trinket with just 12 tokens. The new trinket will come with the same base ilvl of the old one, and will have an additional upgrade bonus of 1.

Once the old Trinkets have become not usable they can be upgraded. This allows a player to increase both their power and value with time. They can be traded among players and are a viable alternative to gold.

Players should upgrade their most essential items first. This means that the best-in slot items for each class are upgraded first before their secondary gear and finally other pieces of equipment they won't be replacing anytime soon (such as an earring or a cloak). Players should also take into consideration their class's preferred stats when selecting the items to upgrade. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats to tank players, then they should upgrade their chest, helm, and shoulders.

Trinkets are able to be upgraded to a higher level once they are no longer useful, and the new trinket will have an additional bonus of 1% for upgrading. However, a re-upgrade is likely to destroy the old trinket in the event that it is not salvaged using the Black Lion Salvage Kit or an additional salvage tool of higher quality.
