Path of Exile Item Upgrading

Leveling

The upgrade system in Path of Exile has some important variations from the previous versions. Gear is now broken down into tracks, and items can only be upgraded a specific number of times before being "leveled out." The upgrade cost increases with each level up, but the required materials do not increase as much.
