Its only drawback is that it tends to smash into walls and other objects at a high speed, but an instant glance at the cleaning history in the app tells you exactly what it's doing, where it's going and the obstacles it's avoided.

The docking station comes with a handy LCD screen that displays when maintenance is needed, such as emptying debris and cleaning the water tank that is dirty. It is also able to mix detergent into the water tank automatically by using a 600ml eufy solution.

Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop have plenty of run-time and the mop is able to operate for up to 184 minutes in quiet mode, and the vacuum able to do 136 minutes in normal mode, before needing to recharge or return to the base to refill. You can also view the entire cleaning information in the app, which is well laid out and easily understood although we would have liked to be able to distinguish between a vacuum and mop and vacuum clean when examining a cleaned area in the cleaning history.

2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the most recent version of Roborock's top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop, is the most recent version. This year's model has an agitator that doubles as its mopping pad. The S8 Pro Ultra also has improved suction power, allowing it to pick up small hairs and other debris that other robotic cleaners might be unable to pick up.

But the S8 Pro Ultra takes things one step further by incorporating a dual camera that can detect objects and decide whether they are an object that is a wall or a different surface. It is able to change its direction in a way that is best automatic vacuum and clean around them without stumbling.

It's the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed, but it's also the most loaded with features. Its sleek, angular style is eye-catching and it has only three physical buttons that include the power button which also resumes cleaning; a mop-only switch that doubles as a child lock; and a home button that can send the robot back to its dock. The hinged lid can be lifted to reveal a 350ml dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank will empty itself, and robots that vacuum and mop the bin is auto-filling.

The only drawback I could find to this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't movable. While you can replace the mopping cloth (if needed) however, it's a hassle to take off the mount itself for manual washing. I've observed that any soft carpet that the best robot vacuum that mops touches will be in contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, and can cause scratches.

The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart capabilities which include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. You can configure and manage these via the Roborock app, which is also home to its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app allows you to schedule cleanings and track the battery's life. However, you'll have to go through a few hoops in order to enable voice control with this model, which is a shame considering the quality of its performance.

The app is user-friendly and simple to use and the X40's clever features are easy to install. Users can program the X40 for cleaning at specific times. It is also possible to alter suction power, alter modes, view floor plans and maps and manage mopping setting. The X40 can also monitor its progress and inform you when it's finished.

The X40 is easy to maintain and has numerous features that make it an excellent choice for busy families. Its docking station automatically empties the dustbin into a huge 3.2 L bin, cleans mop pads and refills them with fresh water and cleaning solution. It can also detect whether the mop pad is at its maximum capacity and notify you of the situation before it overflows.

4. L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models on the market. However, it has a number of characteristics that make it stand out. Smart DuoScrub, a new feature in its mop, utilizes two high-speed mop heads to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a maximum suction force of 7,000Pa. This is higher than Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also vacuum up pet hair, small dirt particles, and clean up spills and dirt-stained spots.

The mops are also dried and cleaned inside the base station after each use. This feature is great because it prevents mould and unpleasant odours that can build up in storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. This is a system has yet to be seen on other robot vacuum and mop models, and it could be a great method to keep your home hygienic for longer.

There are a lot of options, including the ability to schedule cleaning times and adjust preferences. The app lets you make these settings or you can use the buttons on the device itself.
