Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece of gear and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrade is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements and how many random augmentations are applied.

The elite racial Shield Razortail, for example, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption function in PvP and/or add additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you buy a new item, such as armor, weapon, or ring. This swaps the current item for a different one similar item, with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. However, they don't retain the quality of the original item and any resources wasted will not be refunded.

Survivors may acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of a piece of equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can reroll their equipment in three aspects: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage caused by weapons and melee attack and spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.

There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To create them, you need an upgrade level token to reroll. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require items that are either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the space until the next Success result is repeated. This allows you to save upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they display a description and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. The restaurant's shop will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

As a result, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This affects the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones that boost the value of an item upgrader kit by increasing its stats or attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by completing daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players must first locate the item upgrader, then click the "level up button". This will show a list of the item's current level and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.

After deciding on what to upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. After the player has met the requirements, he is able to select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be raised in level a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last anywhere from seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is risk-free, and does not impact the durability of the item. This is a great way for players who want to get an edge in combat, but don't want to burden their wallets. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item onto an entirely new piece of equipment.

New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to obtain the stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Additionally, players can take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that lets players boost the stats of their weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. It's done by combining an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the item will be upgraded to an upgraded level. This process can continue until the item upgrader kit reaches its highest level.

Items that have upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at the same time. Each upgrade component will require the purchase of a certain amount of items and a minimum level of equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add items to be upgraded. On the right side, a preview shows what the gear looks like at its next level. When the player has enough items by pressing the yellow arrow, it will begin the upgrade process.

An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19.

When an item reaches its maximum level, it will no longer have the option of upgrading. When an item attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be slotted into weapons, armor trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to provide an attribute bonus or extra effect while the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted, acquired through questing or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will damage the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced at will.

Requirements

Items upgrades allow players to boost certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on its type, but you'll typically need Dilithium and an amount of Upgrade tokens.

The upgrade items can be used to make set pieces or weapons to provide additional effects or to increase the level of the item. These upgrades can come from many sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.

The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components include additional modifiers that could further improve the item's stats.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and provides an additional 20% chance of blocking. Additionally, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.

Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players if they can get an exact roll. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.

The game will highlight the requirements when you select the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

The game will place an item in your inventory after you have fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how far you are to finishing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
