WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item upgrading by 3. Each upgrade also boosts an unspecified substat.

The more modernized gear generally has a more value in trade regardless of whether it has low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or has a high stat variation (like Eth titan weapons). Upgrades are less valuable for those with lower requirements because of the requirement to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied on any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item used for the upgrade will be consumed forever and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to the enchantments.

For example, upgrading a chest piece from Benthic to 385 ilvl will cost 20 recycle points while buying a similar item level upgrade from a different player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are useful items that can be used to level up weapons and tools, armor and other accessories. They can be purchased from NPCs of item upgraders for a variety of currencies. They are also available on random treasure lists.
