WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases the level of the item by +3. A random extra substat is also boosted alongside every upgrade.

The more modernized gear generally has a greater value for trade regardless of whether it has low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or has a high stat variation (like the eth titan weapons). The latter see less value from upgrading due to the need to roll for a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrades upgrader enables players to upgrade their gear to a higher item upgrades level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any kind of armor or weapons. However, the Item level upgrade used for the upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can be used to create the enchantments.

You can upgrade your equipment at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear up-to-date it is recommended that you visit the upgrader each several weeks.

Upgrades can cost more based on the level of the item upgrades however they'll always be less expensive than purchasing new gear. For instance, upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 ilvl will cost 20 recycle points, while purchasing the same item from a different player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are useful items that are used to level up weapons, tools, armor, and other accessories. This change allows players to upgrade their equipment to the highest possible ilvl on all of their characters, instead of relying on seasonal loot.

It's also important to use crests wisely, as they only have one use. For instance, it's a good idea to make use of all your Whelpling-rank crests on the best equipment available and save Drake and Wyrm crests to use for the next set of upgrades you're planning to make. This is especially true for items such as rings and trinkets that occupy multiple slots. The discount on the account will only be applicable if all slots on the character are filled with high-quality equipment.
