WoW Upgrades - The item Level upgrade Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an Best item upgrader by +3. A random extra substat is also increased with every upgrade.

Upgraded gear generally sees greater value for trade as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or a very high stat variance (like Eth titan weapons). Upgrades are not as useful for those with lower requirements due to the requirement to roll a perfect version.

Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase tools, armor, weapon, and accessory upgrades. They are purchased by players from NPCs who sell upgrades for items in exchange for a variety of currencies, and can be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased it can be used on any weapon or tool using the help of The button will display the item's next upgrade level, if there are enough materials.

The cost of upgrades varies based on the item slot and the current level of the item as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than bracers or gloves, for example. Each step costs 15 Flightstones plus a specific number of crests. Certain upgrades provide a discount on the Flightstones.
