The S1 also did a fantastic job of cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving effortlessly on its flat side against the floor and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or carpet.

The S1's docking station automatically empties its trash bin and replenishes its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated water prior to each mopping session. The dock also adds a cleaning solution into the water for deep cleaning. The S1's water tank can hold enough for about 12 cleaning sessions before needing to be emptied, though this will vary depending the amount you use the mop.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. But their new flagship model has even more impressive features. It offers outstanding cleaning results and hands-off maintenance which makes it a strong contender on our top robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush ensure an efficient, customized clean.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It works equally well on carpets and hard floors.
