Guild Wars 2 Item Upgrade

The process of upgrading an item, often referred to as "upping," improves an item's stats. Each upgrade increment increases a stat linearly.

Players can recycle up to six items at a time to gain an ability to gauge the level of each of the item's upgraded components. The cost of recycling a piece of equipment increases depending on their rarity and level.

Upgrade components
