Anna found that it was sturdy and secure after being affixed to her bed. The legs clicked into place and the zippers were secured to ensure safety. It took Anna about 10 minutes to put it together and didn't require any tools. There are clear instructions, a video and a customer support number if you encounter any issues.

The CoZee crib is equipped with all the features you would expect from a crib for your bedside cot mattress, including the ability to connect it to your existing bed with a stay-in-place connection system. It also comes with six height settings. Additionally, there is an inclined feature that can be used to help infants suffering from reflux or congestion. It can also be washed by a machine and is a must for all the dribbles and snot that come with a newborn baby!

If you're looking to keep your baby close during the first six months when they're beginning to learn to sleep independently, the CoZee is a great choice because it can be used as a separate crib, changing table and toddler bed. With the addition of a sofa bed extension pack, it could be converted into an actual cot. While it won't feed your baby or magically put them to sleep, it will rock them until they go off!

This is one of Chicco’s more expensive alternatives. However, it has many great features. It's designed to function as a side sleeper or standalone crib, and is suitable for babies up to six months. It is easy to open and close the side panel with a brand new mechanism. It's also more adjustable than its predecessor, having 11 different height settings as well as legs that retract to place under any bed.

Our testers appreciated the ease of use offered by the side panel that can be moved up and down with one push of a switch. This was particularly useful at night, as they could reach in and pick their baby up without waking them.

It is possible to lower the side panel itself but this is not recommended, because it increases the chance that your child could be thrown out of the cot. However, the patented safety locking mechanism means that it can only remain in place when it is attached to the bed properly. The cot conversion kit (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear directions and everything you need to begin. It took us an hour to put together and was surprisingly simple. However, overall it was a straightforward procedure and the quality of the materials used was excellent.
