The Joie Roomie Glide is a bedside cot newborn crib that allows parents to sleep together with their baby while ensuring they're sleeping safely. The smooth glide motion helps to ease your baby back to sleep, and its ingenuous features allow you to keep an eye on them without leaving your own bed.

The cot's slide-away side panel can be raised and lowered with the touch of a button, making it a breeze to reach inside and soothe a crying baby at night. It comes with 11 height adjustments that can be adjusted to fit nearly any mattress size, and adjustable folding feet so that it's at the correct level.

The cot is cushioned and has mesh sides that allow for more the airflow, and the mattress is made of high-density, foam to provide extra protection. It's also able to be cleaned so you can keep it clean. Additionally, it is fitted with a sheet that's suitable for the cot.

Unlike some other bedside crib and travel cot cribs, the Roomie Glide is suitable for the majority of beds, including divans due to its straps and clip attachment. It can also be used as a standalone crib even when it's not connected to the bed. It is packed with wonderful features designed with the idea of parent-child bonding in mind.

She also liked how it looked in the bedroom and believed that the grey shade is a good fit for modern homes. She also mentioned that it's not an ideal idea to rock a baby when it's younger as it can create an unfavourable sleep pattern for later.

The Tutti Bambini CoZee

The Tutti Bambini CoZee bedside cot wooden crib is designed to provide a good night's rest. It has a drop side rail which can be easily lowered for nighttime feeds without having to wake your child or get up - it's ideal for mothers who are breastfeeding! It's also lightweight and easy to move around during naps or when traveling.

We love that it's constructed from soft materials with mesh sides that are breathable, which promote airflow and comfort. It comes in charcoal or oak with various melange fabrics that will blend with all styles of decor. Anna found it to be sturdy and secure when affixed to her bed, with the legs firmly snapping into place and the zips secure to ensure baby safety. It took Anna approximately 10 minutes to put it together and did not require any tools. There are clear instructions as well as a video, and a customer support number if you have any problems.

The CoZee crib is equipped with all the features you would think of in a crib for your bed, including the ability to attach it to your existing bed with a stay-in-place connection system. It also comes with six height settings. In addition there is an inclined feature that can be used to aid babies with congestion or reflux. It's also machine-washable, a necessity with all the dribble and vomit that comes with having a baby!

If you're looking to keep your baby close during the first six months as they're learning to sleep independently and independently, the CoZee is a great option because it can be used as a separate cot, changing table and toddler bed. Our testers were impressed by the ease of use offered by the side panel which can be moved upwards and down with one click of a switch. This was particularly helpful at night, as they could reach in and pick their baby up without disturbing them.

The side panel can be removed on its own however, it's not recommended since it increases the risk of your baby falling out of the cot. The safety locking system guarantees that the side panel will only remain in place if it's connected correctly to the parent's mattress. This is a wonderful feature to have for peace of mind, particularly when you're breastfeeding and need frequent night feeds.

Telescopic legs allow the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed, including divan bases and beds with drawers. It also comes with tilting functions for reflux babies and a rocking feature to soothe them back to sleep after feeding. It is also very large and offers excellent ventilation due to its mesh sides.

Our test subjects found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, though it comes with a long instruction manual. It's a bit heavier than some of the other side-sleepers, however it's fairly mobile and can be moved from room to room easily. It's also small enough to fit in a travel bag when not in use, which is a bonus in the event that you have to transport it. The only issue our testers found is that the side panel did not flex as much compared to other models. This made it a little harder to observe your baby from the bed.

The Shnuggle Air

The Shnuggle Air bedside crib to cot crib is a great option for a crib that can grow with your child. It is designed to be a co-sleeping bassinet that can be attached securely to your bed and transform into a chic cot when your baby is ready. It's perfect for night-time feeds and growing your bond with your baby.

The Shnuggle Air crib is designed to breathe, not like other models. Its dual-view mesh sides and breathable, hypo-allergenic airflow mattress increase airflow to keep your baby cool and comfortable. The gentle slope helps reduce colic and reflux. The zip-down side allows you to feed your baby or soothe them at night.

The conversion kit for cots (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear instructions and everything you need to begin. It took us around an hour to assemble and was fairly simple to put together. The only downside to the instructions was that a few images were not captioned. This made it difficult for us to follow the instructions. However, it was a straightforward procedure and the quality of the materials employed was of a high standard.

In the co-sleeping position, we discovered the Shnuggle Air to be an excellent option for breastfeeding mothers and women who have had a c-section as it allows them to easily reach out to their baby for comfort and feeding without having to get up from their own bed. It's a great option for parents who don't want to deal with the burden of putting their infant in a traditional cot or getting out of it.

In our tests, we found the gliding motion of the next-to-me crib to be particularly helpful when it comes to getting babies to sleep after feedings at midday and in the evening. The drop-down side can be easily accessed to feed or soothe babies in the middle of the night, which was a real draw for our exhausted test mums. The Joie Roomie Glide is a modern and stylish crib that doesn't rock nor does it come with extra features like an audio system.
