Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are a great method of quickly cleaning up mess. The top robot vacuums and mops I test had superior navigation and mapping. They picked up Cheerios and fake dog turds, as well as tangled wires.

It's worth noting that the mapping process takes some time, and it may require a few attempts before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate picture of your space. In addition the detection of objects can be difficult to determine It was able to skim over furniture and other obstacles, but was stuck on a looser tassel and had to flip it over to get free. However, these aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube is still a great option for those who need an all-in-one cleaner.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping system uses the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubbers. This results in floors being cleaned, not just swept. The detachable vacuum stick is an innovative tool that can get to places robot vacuum with mop vacuums cannot.

This model is essentially identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction power of 8,700Pa and other smart features. The upgraded RGBD sensor can learn your home better and offer dynamic obstacle avoidance. And the smart app lets you adjust various settings that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo is also self-prepping, with both the robot vacuum as well as the mop returning to their charging base after each task to wash their pads and empty their dust bins, and then place the debris in a self-sealing bag. However, it did struggle with fine-grained debris and wasn't always able to remove raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise level is also very high, which means this model may not be as simple to set and forget as other models.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, comes with docking technology that allows it to refill its clean water, empty the dustbin and wash and dry the mop, and then empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance simple and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors on a routine schedule. Eufy's app lets you manage all the functions. It gives clear information and plenty of options for configuration.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the best automatic vacuum vacuums/mowers on the market. It offers impressive vacuuming and mopping results. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with decent precision, and the application lets users fine-tune the map coverage, set no-go zones, and customize cleaning preferences. The Freo's brush is designed to prevent hair from wrapping itself around it. This can be a major problem with many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM and apply upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system incorporates intelligent carpet detectors that raise the pads when they are close to soft surfaces to prevent contamination.

The docking station that is all-in-one functions as a hands-free maintenance centre, automatically washing and drying the mops before refilling them with water and detergent. The base station also features integrated dust processing that compacts dust over 7 weeks of hassle-free operation unlike conventional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins each time they have to be empty.

6. S10

This robot is just a few hundred dollars more than the S8 and does an excellent job of keeping my office tidy. It is also able to reach into the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to build an image of your home and knows where not to go. And, unlike many vacuums with mopping capabilities it also has detection of objects and obstructions that avoids items such as bowls for dogs and dog toys (but not poop!).

Other fantastic features include a self emptying dustbin as well as a mop that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature, and an extended side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also set cleaning schedules in the app and set custom settings for every room in your home.

Like the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping, and can distinguish between laminate, carpets and hardwood flooring with high-pile rugs. And, if you're looking to cut down on time, it can even avoid mopping rooms that aren't dirty. If you have a variety of flooring options in your home and don't wish to spend extra money on a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping capabilities, this is an excellent option.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum and mop that can handle both regular daily maintenance and touch-ups on messy messes that are wet, this robot is a great choice. It comes with a variety of features, including a self-emptying dustbin, a separate water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings in the app. It's quite quiet, and it can navigate between furniture legs and socks with ease. However, it can't pick up knotted rug tassels, and its battery drains a little faster than other models in our tests.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerful unit that provides powerful suction and convenient automation, all in a sleek and stylish. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our vacuuming tests however, it did very well. It comes with a variety of cleaning modes, from the low power 'Quiet mode which is suitable for small debris to the incredibly powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It will even automate the removal and reattachment of mop pads, and not leave your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum and mop that can be used even in small spaces. It's quiet and quick and is a great choice for getting around tight spots. It is also very good at removing pet hair off carpeting.

It's smaller than many of its competitors however, it doesn't compromise any features. It has a good amount of suction power and it can be configured to take a picture of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys, socks) and mark them as 'not found' in the app so that they aren't removed during subsequent cleanings. Its photos are encrypted, and are not tied to your account.

It is great at vacuuming, but not as great in mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that you clip onto the bot's bottom, and it essentially drags them around your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have water reservoirs and will automatically wash and attach their mophead.
