However, it did struggle with fine engrained debris and wasn't always able to clear raised room thresholds. Its operating noise is also relatively high, so it may be a less reliable set-and-forget model than some.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, has a docking systems that allow it to replenish its clean water, empty the dust bin, dry and wash the mop, and then empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easier and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to an established schedule. You can control all its functions using the Eufy app. It provides a clear overview and plenty of options for configuration.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is among the top mowers and vacuums available on the market. It delivers amazing results when it comes to mopping and vacuuming. The LIDAR mapping sensors can recognize furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with reasonable accuracy. The app allows users to fine-tune the map coverage, set up no-go zones and alter the cleaning preferences. The Freo's main roller brush is also designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which is a big pain point with many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode is impressive too and comes with Reuleaux triangular mops that spin at 180 RPM and exert up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system has smart carpet detectors, which lift the pads up when they are near soft surfaces to avoid contamination.

The docking station is a hands-free maintenance centre that automatically washes and dry the mops, and refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station features an integrated dust-processing system that compacts dust, which allows for 7 weeks of uninterrupted maintenance.

A few hundred dollars less than the S8 This robot is a slick job at keeping my home office clean and can also take on the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to make a map of your home, so it knows where to stay away from. And, unlike many vacuums that have mopping capabilities it detects objects and obstructions that avoids things like bowls and dog toys (but not poop).

It also has some outstanding standout features, including the self-emptying dustbin and a mop pad that's self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water and a side-reaching brush that is able to reach places that other mops don't. You can also set cleaning schedules within the app and adjust settings for every room in your home.

It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and can differentiate between laminate and carpets, with high-pile carpets. And, if you want to cut down on time, it can skip mopping in rooms that aren't soiled. If you have a wide range of flooring options in your home and don't wish to spend additional money for a Roborock with advanced mapping features it is a great option.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum and mop that is able to handle both regular daily maintenance and touch-ups on wet messes, this little robot is an excellent option. It comes with a variety of features like the ability to empty the dustbin on its own as well as an additional water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings within the app. It's extremely quiet and easily moves around furniture legs or socks. It's not able to pick up tangled rug tassels up and its battery drains more quickly than other models we've test.

With a cost of less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly device that packs powerful suction and handy automation into a slick design. It didn't score quite as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the much pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however it did extremely well overall. 8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum and mop that can be used even in small areas. It's extremely quiet and speedy and is a great choice for getting around tight spots. It also does a very nice job of getting pet hair out of carpeting.

It's smaller than many of its competitors, but doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be programmed to take photos of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys), and mark them in the app as 'not located' so that they will not be picked up again during future cleanings. The photos are secure and are not tied to your account.

It is great at vacuuming, but it's not so good in mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that are clipped onto the bottom of the bot, and it essentially drags them around the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which come with water reservoirs that automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
