WoW Upgrades - The item upgrader mod Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost in specific statistics. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by +3. Each upgrade also boosts an unspecified substat.

The more modernized gear generally has a greater value for trade regardless of whether it has low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or a very high stat variation (like the eth titan weapons). Upgrades are less useful for those with lower requirements due to the need to roll an exact version.

Recycle Points

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher item upgrades level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. However, the item used for the upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and can't be used again. Upgrades can be applied to Enchantments.

You can upgrade your gear anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear up-to-date, it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every several weeks.

The cost of upgrading will be based on the current level of the item being upgraded however, they will always be less expensive than purchasing new equipment from other sources. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest to the level of ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. If you purchase a similar item, it will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that are used to improve the quality of weapons tools, armor, and other items. They can be purchased by players from item upgraders NPCs for a variety of currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade items is able to be applied to any weapon, tool or armor. The button will show the item's next level of upgrade item, if there are enough materials.

Upgrade costs vary depending on the slot of the item level upgrade (Recommended Website) and the current level of the item. For instance weapons are more expensive than gloves, bracers or bracers. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones and a few crests, with some upgrades having a discount to reduce the cost of the Flightstones or the crests used. Once an item is upgraded to a certain level, it can be degraded and returned to the upgrader for a lesser amount of both currency types.

Upgraders for items are available in many places on the main island and some outposts. The NPCs offer both an upgrade discount and the chance to get a brand new upgrade recipe. The discount on upgrades increases when more items are upgraded. It can be increased if players finish certain achievements or quests.

Icewind Dale does not have an upgrader for items at the start unlike Cromwell from Baldur's gate II. Instead the NPCs that can be used to upgrade must be acquired through several methods which is both an improvement and a drawback.

In Season 3, the upgrade system was tweaked a bit, with some new features added. Once a player obtains an upgrade to a specific level of an item upgrade for a specific armor slot, upgrading other items to that same item level will cost less even when they belong to another set of gear.

The discount is available to all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests required for upgrades is reduced as well, but is only available when certain milestones have been reached.

Crests

When upgrading gear in WoW players have a few choices. Flightstones are a currency that is available to all players for upgrading. Crests are more specific and are utilized during specific item level upgrades. Crests are an essential part of the Dragonflight gear progression system introduced in 10.1, and come in 4 ranks.

The first thing to remember is that crests are only able to be used on equipment that is of a particular rank, and that every rank has different requirements for upgrading. The simplest and easiest upgrade is 15 crests. The most complicated upgrade can require up to 20 crests, contingent on the type or equipment being upgraded.

Players can earn crests by finishing tasks at the appropriate level. This could be by engaging in outdoor activities or taking on dungeons and raids of all difficulties to get lower-tier gear or Mythic+ raid bosses or dungeons that have a high difficulty for gear in the endgame. These crests can be exchanged with an upgrader, such as Cuzolth or Vaskarn, in Valdrakken to upgrade the item in the proper steps and pathways.

Using these new currencies isn't that difficult, but the system introduces some modifications to the upgrade process. For instance, when an item reaches the highest upgrade level of any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic) it won't require Flightstones to be upgraded. This change allows players to upgrade their gear to the highest level possible on all their characters, instead of relying on seasonal loot.

Another significant modification is that crests have one purpose and it's crucial to use them wisely. For instance it's a good idea to utilize all of your Whelpling rank crests with the best gear you have available, and then save Drake and Wyrm crests for the next round of upgrades you plan to create. This is especially relevant for trinkets and rings that occupy multiple slots on the character which can only be eligible to take advantage of the account-wide discount when all of the slots are full of high-quality gear.
