If you have a variety of flooring options in your home and don't wish to spend additional money for a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping capabilities, this is a great choice.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum and mop that can handle both regular daily maintenance and touch-ups for wet messes, this robot is an excellent choice. It comes with a variety of features that include a self-emptying dustbin, a separate dock for refilling water, as well as customizable settings via the app. It's quite quiet and can navigate between furniture legs and socks effortlessly. It can't pick the tangled tassels of a rug, and its battery drains faster than other models we tested.

With a cost of less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and useful automation into a slick design. It's smaller than the majority of its rivals, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be configured to take pictures of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as "not found' to ensure that they are not taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are encrypted and aren't tied to your account.

It does a fantastic job of vaccuming, but it isn't as effective at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that are clipped onto the bottom of the bot and it essentially drags them around the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have reservoirs of water, and can automatically wash and attach their mophead.
