Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

Robot vacuum cleaners and mops are a great method to quickly clean up mess. The best robot vacs and mops that I have tested come with top-quality mapping and navigation, picking up Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds, without leaving them behind.

They're also simple to use with an application that lets you plan cleaning tasks and see what they're doing.

1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum. It comes with the most recent features. This top-of-the-line vacuum is fast and agile and was able to pick up human hair and pet hair almost flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also comes with a stylish app interface with a miniature map of your home and a few buttons on the screen to control the device manually.

Another notable feature is the S8's ability to adjust its cleaning mode according to dirt levels thanks to its Dirt Detection technology. It will pause and clean its mopping pad more frequently when it comes across dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas to be mopped with a damp pad.

It comes with a range of other smart features also, including an alternative dock that connects to the plumbing in your home to wash and clean the mop roller without needing you to refill it manually. You can even use voice commands to control the built-in voice assistant of the S8 that can be activated by saying "Hey Rocky" to specify rooms cleaning, modes and granular controls using just your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those who want a hands free robot vacuum that also has mopping capabilities. It's one of the combination robot vacuums that have mopping features that are also offered at a lower price than competitors.

Like most robot vacuums, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get started. This involves establishing an app account and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once that's done, though the robot hoover is able to begin mopping and vacuuming with ease.

It's important to note that the mapping process could take some time, and the Yeedi Cube may need a few attempts before it has a good picture of your room. The object detection is not perfect. It was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles, but it was stuck on a looser rug with tassels that it required a flip to free itself. But these are minor issues, and the Yeedi Cube is still a ideal choice for those looking for an all-in-one cleaner.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete provides a three-in-one cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubs. This means that floors are cleaned, not just swept. The detachable stick vacuum is a game changer that enables you to reach spots even robot vacuums can't.

The model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction power of 8,700Pa and additional features that are smart. The upgraded RGBD sensor will learn to understand your home's layout better and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. And the smart app lets you customize the settings of your choice that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum and mop return to their charging station at the end of each task to clean their pads, empty the dust bins and place the debris into a self sealing bag. This helps keep the system clean and prevents allergens from recirculating. Its battery life is sufficient to clean large areas without needing a charge mid-clean.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop that has impressive features for an affordable price. It comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power, a rotating brush for carpets and hard floors and a great obstacle avoidance. It also has an innovative mopping technique that uses a roller constantly misting with water to capture dirt, and then dump it in the water tank.

Its navigation system was efficient. It avoided stairs and navigated close to walls without crashing. However, it did struggle with fine-grained debris and wasn't always able to clear raised room thresholds. Its operating sound level is also high, so this model might not be as easy to set and forget as others.

As with most robotic vacuums and mop cleaners, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that allows you to replenish its clean water, empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors on regular schedules. You can manage all of its functions via the Eufy app, which gives an overview of the system and plenty of configuration options.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is one of the best automatic vacuum robot mowers and vacuums available, and it offers an impressive mix of mopping and vacuuming performance. The LIDAR mapping sensors can recognize furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with decent precision. The app allows users to fine-tune the map coverage, set up no-go zones, or customize cleaning preferences. The main roller brush of the Freo is also engineered to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which is an issue for many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that rotate at 180 RPM, while applying up to 12N downward pressure. The mopping system incorporates smart carpet detectors, which lift the pads up when they're near soft surfaces to keep them from getting contaminated.

The docking station that is all-in-one functions as a hands-free maintenance center, automatically washing and drying the mops before refilling them with water and detergent. The base station also features integrated dust processing that compacts dust for seven weeks of maintenance-free operation, unlike conventional robot vacuums that empty their bins of dust every time they are emptied.

6. S10

This robot is just a few hundred dollars more than the S8 and does a great job of keeping my home office tidy. It is also able to reach into the corners of my small apartment. It utilizes a laser mapping camera and laser to create a 3D-map of your home so that it knows what to avoid. And, unlike many vacuums that have mopping capabilities it detects objects and obstructions that avoids things like bowls for dogs and dog toys (but not poop!).

It also comes with other notable features, like an automatic emptying dustbin, a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water and a side-reaching brush that can get to places that other mops don't. You can also set your own cleaning schedule within the app and adjust the settings for each room in your home.

It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and can differentiate between laminate and carpets with high-pile carpets. It can also avoid mopping rooms that are not dirty if you're looking to save time. It's a great option if you have a mix of flooring in your home and do not want to invest the extra money for the Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is an excellent choice to consider if you're looking for a versatile robot that can handle regular maintenance on a daily basis as well as touch-ups to messy water stains. It comes with a variety of features like the ability to empty the dustbin on its own as well as an additional water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings within the app. It's surprisingly quiet, and it's able to navigate around furniture legs and socks with ease. It's not able to pick up knots in the rug and it drains its battery faster than other models we've tested.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerful unit that provides a powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our vacuuming tests however, it did quite well. It has a range of cleaning options, ranging from the low power 'Quiet mode which is suitable for small debris to the incredibly powerful 'Turbo mode' for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to remove and reconnect the mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum and mop that can be used in small spaces. It's extremely silent and fast and can maneuver tight spaces efficiently. It also does a good robot vacuum job of removing pet hair off carpeting.

It's smaller than many of its rivals, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has decent suction power and can be programmed to take pictures of each object it chooses (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as "not located' so that they won't be removed in future cleanings. The photos are secured and aren't linked to your account.

It does a fantastic job of vaccuming, however it isn't as good at mopping. It uses disposable wipes that are clipped to the bottom of the bot and drags them across the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal, which come with water reservoirs that automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
