If you're looking to tidy up messes quickly and efficiently, a robot vacuum and mop is the best way to go. The best robot vacuums and mops in my tests are top-quality in navigation and mapping as well as the ability to remove Cheerios wires, tangled wires and fake dog turds with out leaving them behind.

1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra

If you're looking for the top robot automatic vacuum cleaner and mop with cutting-edge features you should take a look at the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It's worth noting that the mapping process takes some time, and it may take a few tries before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate view of your space. Additionally the detection of objects can be difficult to determine and it was able to skim over furniture and other obstacles, but was stuck on a looser tassel and had to flip its back to release itself. These are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for an all-purpose cleaning tool that can do all of the above.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses an alternating motion that's similar to hand scrubbers. This means that floors are cleaned, not just swept. The detachable stick automatic vacuum cleaner and mop is a game changer that enables you to reach areas that a robotic vacuum can't.

This model is basically the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with an a bit higher suction capacity of 8700Pa and other smart features. The upgraded RGBD sensor can learn your home better and offer dynamic obstacles avoidance. The smart app allows you to alter a variety of settings including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum and mop return to their charging base at the end of each task to clean their pads, empty the dust bins and place the debris into a self sealing bag. Its operating noise level is also quite high, so this model may not be as simple to set and forget as the other models.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, is equipped with a docking system that allows it to replenish its clean water, empty the dust bin and wash and dry the mop, and empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easier and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in line with a regular schedule. You can control all of its functions via the Eufy app, which gives a clear overview and plenty of configuration options.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the best vacuums/mowers on the market. It offers impressive vacuuming and mopping results. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can detect furniture legs and other obstacles with decent precision, and the application lets users fine-tune the map coverage, create no-go zones, and modify cleaning preferences. The main roller brush is also designed to stop hair from wrapping around it, which can be a big pain point with many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads spinning at 180 RPM, while applying upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system also incorporates intelligent carpet detection, which lifts the pads up when they're near soft surfaces to prevent contamination of the carpet.

The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free maintenance center which is capable of automatically drying and washing the mops before refilling them with detergent and water. The base station also has integrated dust processing that compacts dust over 7 weeks of maintenance-free operation, unlike conventional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins every time they need to be empty.

It uses laser mapping and a camera to make an image of your home which allows it to know where not to go. It has an object/obstacle detector that can block things like dog bowls and toys (but not the poop) unlike other vacuums.

It has other great standout features, including the self-emptying dustbin, a mop pad that's self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water and a side-reaching brush that is able to reach places that other mops don't. You can also customize the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules.

Similar to the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping that can differentiate between laminate flooring, carpets and hardwood rugs with high-pile. It also lets you skip cleaning rooms that aren't filthy if you're trying to save time. It's an excellent option when you have a mix of flooring in your home and do not want to invest the extra money on the Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum and mop (Read More Here) that is able to handle regular maintenance and touch-ups on wet messes, this robot is an excellent option. It offers a broad range of features, including the ability to empty the dustbin on its own, the water refill dock, and customizable settings in the app. It's surprisingly quiet and can maneuver between furniture legs and socks effortlessly. It's not able to pick up the tangled tassels of rugs and it's battery drains a little faster than other models we tested in our tests.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that provides powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek design. It didn't score quite as well in our mopping and mopping tests as the much more expensive Roborock S8MaxV Ultra, but it still did very well overall. It also comes with a selection of cleaning options to suit your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' option for lightweight debris to the more robust 'Turbo' mode that is ideal for rooms with carpet. It's smaller than many of its competition, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be configured to take photos of each object it chooses (i.e. chew toys, socks) and mark them in the app as 'not located', so that they will not be removed in future cleanings. The photos are secured and aren't connected to your account.

It is great at vacuuming, but it's not so good in mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that you clip onto the bottom of the bot and it essentially drags them around the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have water reservoirs and will automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
